Kyle Teller is a creative communicator:

Education: She is an instructional designer, educator, and community advocate. For nearly a decade, she has designed, developed, and implemented training projects for corporations, universities, nonprofits, and professionals of all backgrounds. Currently, she works at The Trevor Project as the organization’s Public Training Manager, directing and developing interactive learning programs for diverse national audiences. She uses her skills in research and storytelling to create dynamic, evidence-based programs that get people excited to learn.
Writing: Her publication “Starfish Girls” won first prize in the 2019 Atticus Review flash fiction contest and was nominated for Best Small Fictions. Her stories “7 Killer Steps to Break a Curse” and “Little Ash Boy” were both finalists for Glimmer Train’s Very Short Fiction Award, and her works appear in Atticus Review, The Pinch, Whiskey Island, Grimoire, and elsewhere.
Designing: Her book designs showcase the works of notable authors like Molly Giles and Serena Crawford, among others, and can be purchased wherever books are sold. She worked as lead designer for Lost Horse Press, Willow Springs Books, and Beecher’s magazine. She was managing editor for LandLocked Magazine and led the journal’s rebranding.
She holds a doctorate in English from the University of Kansas, a Master of Fine Arts in English from Eastern Washington University, and a dual Bachelor of Arts in English and Studio Art from Concordia College (Moorhead). She never stops learning.
